Challenge

From 2017 to 2025, Haft2 supported Sinai Health and the Sinai Health Foundation on a wide range of brand, marketing, and fundraising initiatives. The organization encompassed multiple entities with distinct identities, creating complexity and fragmentation across communications. The challenge was to unify these brands under a cohesive architecture. Additionally, Haft2 was tasked with developing compelling fundraising campaigns, annual reports, and digital strategies that could engage diverse audiences—from patients and donors to staff and leadership—while meeting the high standards expected in the healthcare environment.

The visual system was refined through updated colour palettes, improved logo versatility, and comprehensive brand guidelines, resulting in a clearer and more consistent brand experience.
Haft2 began with an in-depth research phase, conducting stakeholder interviews across the organization to understand existing perceptions, needs, and opportunities. This informed the development of a streamlined brand architecture that united Sinai Health under a single, cohesive identity. The visual system was refined through updated colour palettes, improved logo versatility, and comprehensive brand guidelines, resulting in a clearer and more consistent brand experience.
Building on this foundation, Haft2 led the creative development of multiple fundraising campaigns for the Sinai Health Foundation. For the Labour of Love campaign, supporting neonatal care, Haft2 designed a warm, approachable visual identity inspired by baby blocks, including a custom logo and iconography. Campaign touchpoints—such as elevator wraps within the hospital—were designed to connect directly with new parents, helping drive meaningful donations in honour of newborns.
For the Grateful Hearts campaign, Haft2 created a system that empowered patients to thank and recognize their caregivers who made a difference in their experience. This included campaign branding, donor recognition pins, photography direction, and a full suite of supporting materials.
Finally, Haft2 provided colour strategy guidance to Sinai Health’s digital team when they overhauled their website. Haft2 conducted extensive colour testing for accessibility, usage, and functional clarity across a wide range of digital applications.

The result was a clear and cohesive brand system applied across all channels, driving stronger engagement, supporting successful fundraising efforts, and positioning Sinai Health as a more unified and recognizable organization.
