New York Philharmonic
Widely regarded as one of the most important symphonic ensembles in the United States, the New York Philharmonic is based in New York City. Founded in 1842, the orchestra is one of the oldest musical institutions in the United States. The Philharmonic’s home is David Geffen Hall, located in New York’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
