Brand Identity Development

Calgary Place, a residential community in Calgary, Alberta, was ready for a fresh, modern look. Haft2 was brought on to reimagine the visual identity—developing a bold new logo, a dynamic brand language, and a comprehensive style guide featuring a vibrant colour palette, distinctive typography, and flexible graphic elements. The refreshed identity was designed for impact across every touchpoint, from environmental signage to digital platforms and print materials, bringing new life and energy to the brand.

Solution

Haft2 designed a clean, distinctive monogram and wordmark for the Calgary Place logo, inspired by Calgary’s iconic Plus 15 skywalk. The intertwined letters “C” and “P” visually represent location, connection, and movement, reflecting the community’s dynamic spirit. The logo exudes sophistication and prestige, with the monogram now prominently featured across social media channels and serving as a key element in the brand’s visual language.

Results

The client was extremely pleased with the final branding, particularly the logo and its overall style. The new identity has already been installed in the residential building, garnering positive feedback for its modern look and cohesive feel. The monogram pattern is now widely applied across various touchpoints, with the brand coming together seamlessly across environmental, print, and digital platforms.
