Now in its eighth year, the Haft2COLOUR Calendar Project is one of our fundraising initiatives inspired by colour. This year, our calendar design explores the power of brand colour.
When deciding on this year’s theme, we looked into our own expertise of colour and design to understand how some brands really can “own” a brand colour. From the famous Tiffany Blue to an everyday item like Fiskars Scissors’ orange, we’ve curated twelve of the world’s most iconic brand colours together.
We hope you’ll enjoy seeing and learning the backstory to each of these brands as much as we did illustrating and writing about them.
All proceeds from this year’s calendar will be donated Look Good Feel Better Canada (lgfb.ca). This amazing organization offers a complimentary beauty workshop that gives Canadian women undergoing cancer treatment the tools and techniques to feel beautiful and vital. In so doing, they help restore a sense of self and renew a feeling of womanhood, however those women choose to define it.
