VERVE GIRL

Verve Girl is a Canadian magazine that offers teenaged girls a platform for seeking and sharing advice about health and fitness, career options, prom, study tips and lifestyle choices. The magazine’s parent company Youth Culture approached Haft2 to design the identity and overall look of Verve Girl.

At a time when most publications for teenaged girls were using softer tones of pinks and yellows, we opted for a magenta and tangerine to show the strength and personality of the reading audience. Since its inception, Verve Girl has become one of the most successful Canadian magazines aimed at this demographic, and has developed into a fully integrated social network offering young women the opportunity to experience and share life online.
