ONTARIO TOURISM

In 2008 Young & Rubicam approached Haft2 for assistance with their client, Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation. The Ontario Tourism brand had long been successful but the communication materials had become inconsistent, due to the varying agencies developing them. A single and strong brand look and cohesive set of standards were sought.

After an extensive audit of each agency’s work with the brand, we began by selecting a new colour palette, inspired by the sights of the province of Ontario. Graphic patterns, typefaces, photography guidelines, colour blocking and layout recommendations were conceived for use across all media.

The agency was left with a comprehensive set of standards that speaks in one voice to several communication agencies and multiple levels of government.
