It's a Small World

In his quest to make Dubai the "best at everything", Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid recently unveiled his city's latest geography-altering ambitions. It's called The Universe and in size, it will exceed the city's current project entitled The World - a collection of over 200 man-made private and public islands being formed off Dubai's sandy coast. The Universe will feature larger land masses built in the shapes of our closest celestial bodies - the sun, moon, planets and our galaxy. Due for completion around 2025, its ultimate size will depend on demand for island space, which so far, has proved high in this marble and glass oasis.
